ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Melissa (right) is an architect, interior designer, 3D architectural visualization artist, and visual artist who uses photography and digital mixed media to capture the transient beauty inherent in both the natural and built worlds. Her work often incorporates photography of architecture, bridges, and natural elements, layered with abstract and digital art.
Melissa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies with a concentration in digital media from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2001, and a Master of Architecture from the same institution in 2003. She is a licensed architect and registered interior designer in Illinois. She specialized in 3D photo-realistic architectural visualization, and her artwork has been shaped by her background in architecture and interior design.
Melissa's artistic pursuits began in the late 1990s and have since been marked by a steady accumulation of a diverse and dynamic collection of pieces.
Melissa lives and works in the Lake of the Ozarks area.
